ANNIE: I pretended to be a different person tonight. I did it because I didn’t want to be me. I did it because I’m not sure who I am. Admit it, we went to school together for four years and you didn’t even know me.
TROY: Yeah, but I know you now. You’re Annie. You like puzzles, and little monsters on your pencil, and some guy named Mark Ruffalo. You’re a fierce competitor and a sore loser. And you expect everybody to be better than who they are, and you expect yourself to be better than everyone. Which is cool.

One of the most genuine scenes of the series thus far. Love love love.
This was actually the only part of the episode I liked. Everything else made me a bit sad.
this part always hurts my feelings to watch, especially with For a Few Paintballs More in mind. THAT HUG. THAT HUG GUYS....
#this show can be really emotionally moving when it actually gives being earnest a go
Favorite ep, uncontested.
This episode > everything.
